Your tasks

  • Checking, account assignment and posting of current business transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, cash)
  • Collaboration in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Processing and managing open items and carrying out the dunning process
  • Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of accounting issues
  • Support with tax issues (e.g. advance VAT returns)
  • Maintenance and archiving of relevant accounting documents

What you bring with you

  • Completed commercial training, e.g. as an office management assistant, industrial clerk or tax clerk
  • Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally knowledge of accounting software (e.g. DATEV, SAP, Lexware)
  • Structured, careful and independent way of working
  • High affinity for numbers and ability to work in a team
